pdd – Understanding Client Attitudes to New Product Development
As part of pdd’s business planning process, a better understanding of customers' attitudes and perceptions toward 3rd party involvement in the Innovate stage of the new product development (NPD) processes was needed. Cognisant Research delivered a two phase research programme.
The 1st phase involved a paper based survey delivered to 5,000 businesses across the world. In order to increase response rates, Cognisant Research telephoned all individuals identified as not participating and mailed out an additional questionnaire. This approach significantly improved response rates within a category of hard-to-reach individuals, notoriously difficult to recruit into paper-based research projects of this kind.
