Conjoint Analysis
Conjoint choice tasks force people to make choices and in doing so those collective choices can be used to establish preferences.
Cognisant Research work with our clients to identify the different attributes that define a product or service (e.g. price, size, colour, etc.). Different sets of attributes are presented to research subjects who are then forced to make trade off decisions. Conjoint studies produce clear preferences for different features, allowing clients to identify which features are most attractive to their target market.
Bromley Borough Council - Local Priorities
Cognisant Research conducted Bromley Borough Council’s Budget Consultation exercise. Using a Conjoint methodology within a focus group format, we were able to identify clear preferences for different public services and at the same time match these to a qualitative understanding of what drives those preferences.
